We were lucky enough to have Grandma S. come and visit us for month!! It made life so so so great while she was here. We are finally coping now that she has been gone for 3 weeks already, but that first week without her was tough. While she was here we did a lot of really great things. All of which you will get to see! We made it out to the Singapore Flyer. Singapore's own observation wheel.
All the kids were excited, and even the adults until we got there and realized it was raining! The visibility was pretty poor so we tried to kill some time waiting for it to clear. Which it did and then we got to ride around for 45 minutes, seeing all the sights of Singapore.
Analyn was excited to come too and we even got to use her brand new camera since mine was dead. Here she is with all her brood. What a load of responsibility she has and she handles it so well. Better than I do most of the time!
This activity was actually at the end of Grandma's big stay. She left really early the next day. I did pretty good not to cry, but it was hard to see her go. So much love and patience she has for my kids (and my impatience with her grandkids). She is a great example of a positive attitude and general happiness. It was so great to have her rays of sunshine here with us. We can't wait until she comes back!
