Obviously, one of the best things of life here in Singapore is our helper Analyn. She makes it possible for us to go out at night and show our guests the night life of Singapore (within reason, of course ; )
We took Gma to a new place called Gardens By The Bay. It's a complete garden experience that has just opened. And I will say it was spectacular.
This city at night is really beautiful. There is amazing architecture and lights for all to enjoy.
At Gardens By The Bay there are two indoor exhibits which to me make the entire experience worth while. The buildings are amazing and gorgeously designed. Here's a shot from one side. Inside are all sorts of plants, flowers and trees from all over the world. This project costs millions of dollars and is just stunning to behold. Mostly trying to comprehend the amount of work and planning it took to get all of these things under one roof.
Outside are these metal trees that were designed part as a light structure, and a plant structure and some you can go up to see the skyline at night.
They are very stunning as well. This is one thing I love about Singapore. They seem to have very amazing architecture and design everywhere you look. So much to visually enjoy.
Here is the inside of one of the exhibits again. The price to get in wasn't what I would call cheap, but someone has to pay for all these trees to get here from Australia, the USA, and everywhere in between. I love the lighting, the plants and of course, the AC! It was such a beautiful night out on the town and I would definitely recommend it to any plant lover that is visiting Singapore. Be sure to see the exhibits though! They are much better than just walking the grounds. This was one of the nights I was so happy to be living here. Such new things to see and do.
