Gma Visits: Ronin School

Being an administrator, Gma could't wait to see the campus at Ronin's school. Here's an arial shot. Which is totally accurat since its 6 stories high! The students aren't allowed to use the elevator so he takes the stairs up three flits every day. Each grade gets one level.

This was the first time I had been in e library. It was like a children's theatre set. Trees, cottages, a train. It was crazy! And of course fun! Also they have all sorts of books. Mandarin, Tamil, Malay, and of course English.
Here's Ronin showing how, the cow seat looks...

And the goat seat too. Isn't that the cutest picture?

Gma and Ronin in the music room:
And the science room:
In fact Ronin's teacher showed us every inch of the school, to the point of exhaustion. We were sweaty and tired by the end of it, but it seemed that his teacher was enjoying herself so much we couldn't make her stop. And we loved seeing and learning more about Ronin's school. He seems to still be enjoying it even though the testing is picking up a bit. I can see how by P4 its going to get really intense (something we have been warned about) But until then, we are going to enjoy it. Its a great school system and he is learning so much more than he would in the states. Some academically and the rest socially. It's a great experience for all of us.

The Tampines Tree!!!!
The kids had to hunt for this tree through clues. Everyone wanted to find the Tampines Tree! Ronin shows it to me every time I am there. I figured I would get a picture of it, already!
