Pumpkin Painting
The Halloween festivities are upon us!
It took a little bit but I finally tracked down some pumpkins here. They were itty bitty little things in a kit that came with paints and a brush, but I didn't care. It was for fun!
This is the first pumpkin painting experience for the babies. They enjoyed it!
Ronin burned through his fast. He's been doing this since he was Kai's age, and its just not as fun or time consuming anymore. He really wanted to carve one this year but I couldn't find any that were big enough! I am sure there are some somewhere? Someone suggested carving a gourd or a watermelon. Those things we do have, but I don't really like all the icky mess that comes with it, to tell the truth.
Levi had a grand old time. He kept asking for different colours, which I know he doesn't know. But it was cute to hear him ask for the "ba-loo"
He also wanted a paper to paint as well and had his whole belly covered by the time he was done.
We just need to get together our trick or treat bags (oh, and our costumes) and we will be ready for the big night! Last year was hectic, as you may remember. This year we are heading north to celebrate in the Woodlands (aka: Little America) Apparently it's a sight to see at least once while you are here. I don't anticipate it being any more mellow than it was in the condo, but it's worth a shot just once.
Happy Halloween!
