Skater Dudes

The skate park is intense. You sweat more than you ever thought you could.  I love these helmets because they make the kids ears stick out so bad. They are also equipped with skate gloves and pads which they love because they say its what spies would wear.
Kai has learned to scooter so fast. He is always very upset if he doesn't get to go in the pit with the other boys. And for the most part he can actually hold his own. And of course all the girls at the skate park think he is adorable. But lets face it, we think he's adorable too. Check out that serious face! Kai is more intense than the other boys because even when we are at home, he is practicing. Just today he scootered into my room and then turned around and raced down the hall. He really loves it.

Ronin has become quick in learning on his skate board but still loves a trip with the scooter. He has become a lot more agile than we expected. And he was already pretty good on his feet to begin with. He's growing up really fast and I can see his future self in the faces of the other teenagers that frequent the park. (uh, besides the singaporean accent...hopefully) I am trying not to let it terrify me. But for now he is still pretty good to his brothers and he loves hugs and kisses from his mom, so he's not a teenager yet. We have a few more lovely years.
