Ward Camping Trip: The Beach

We have just returned from a three day camping trip to the Long Island Sound. It was absolutely stunning there if not a little stinky.


Our first day was spent on the beach.  The Sound is an estuary of the Atlantic Ocean so there are not enough waves to make the beach sandy. There were these beautiful rocks instead. A bit difficult to walk on, but still so beautiful.  



And littered with seaweed. 

Seaweed with the most amazing color you have ever seen.

And the most amazing stench!!

Cache found quite a few things to make him happy

Ronin was a bit confused by the signage,

But decided it was best to keep the peace anyway.

The first day there were only a few of us there. Our wonderful friends made it such great time spent. It was a peaceful and enjoyable morning.
