Lake Powell Crafts

Every year we do crafts. This time around we had one every day. It kept the parents busy most the day and the kids entertained for about 10 minutes. The first craft we made pirate boats. Of course they didn't float very well, which made it fun for Patrick because then he could handcraft his vessel to be the biggest and best in the fleet. Patrick always goes above and beyond when doing these crafts. He gets a kick out of it.
Here are Gage and Ronin. So proud of the boats their parents have made them. We still have ours on the shelf and it gets pulled out at every bath time.
We also tie-dyed hats. Ronin loved wearing the gloves and dipping his hat into the many colors. Patrick loved it as well. I think we made about 5, and now we can't find any of them. We think the realestate agent may have taken them.
Here are all the hats laid out in the sun to dry.
Ronin felt pretty cool wearing his hat and sunglasses he got from Sadie's birthday party. His hat was still bent out of shape from the rubber bands, but it didn't deter him. He wore it home in the car, on the plane and the next few days around NY until we lost it. He was SO upset when we couldn't find it. Must keep looking. But really, I do think the agent took it.
