Summer Recap: Morgan County Fair

I think a summer trip is not complete until you have gone to a county fair. And you know, the kids really got a good taste of country living while we were in Utah. Morgan County Fair had free games with free prizes which is unheard of anywhere in the state of NY. So the kids were pretty darn happy. We saw all the livestock one could hope to see (and smell). In fact Kai was so tired and cranky, he cried pretty much the entire time, except when we were looking at the cows and goats. They stunk to high heaven, but it was the quietest time of our entire day.

Cache found this super sweet mini van seat that was set up in the chicken coop. He sat while the rest of us checked out the little chickies.

The food was all you would want to find at a county fair. I couldn't stop thinking of Templton in Charlottes Web. Hot Dogs, Nachos, Funnel Cakes and Cotton Candy!!
I'm pretty sure this was the boys first experience with cotton candy. Its as sticky and stomach churning as I remember it being as a kid myself. But boy oh boy did they love it.

We had such an amazing time with the cousins. They were so protective of all the boys. They felt so welcomed and apart of the group which is saying something since all the cousins see each other almost everyday and have their own groove going. It was so sweet of them to include us in their summer time fun.
