Cache had yet another pool party here in Singapore. It's hard to believe he is 6 already. Last year we were so excited to be swimming in January. This year, while it feels a bit more normal to be swimming, it was still pretty amazing not to have to deal with snow! We invited all our condo friends, added some cake and pool water, and had a great time! All the boys were excited about the Lego gifts Cache received. He got a slew of gifts, which is not my favorite thing, but we rarely have these big parties, so we just tried to enjoy it...spoiled child and all.
Cache had been asking for some new wheels. He's not really into skateboarding, but wanted to try rollerblading. It hasn't taken off the way I wanted it to, but he does enjoy it a bit.
We scoured Singapore for a Ninjago cake. And I mean SCOURED! But to no avail. So of course since we have a dad with photoshop skills, we put him to work. They ended up looking pretty good popped up on foam core. Nice job daddy!

Cache also got to have a cake from his school teachers in the same week. He was SO very excited. As was Kai because it was his first time getting to go to school! They had fun together. Kai seemed to like it there, until we actually tried to send him. He said, "No, kai like school." Cache is still enjoying his time there and has made some good friends. So things are going good for this newly turned 6 year old.
