Art and Science Museum: Singapore

One of the best things about this Christmas was all the time we got to spend together as a family (uh, minus baby Levi, who was happy to hang at home with Analyn)

We went to the Art and Science museum to a Lego exhibit by Nathan Sawaya. His story goes a little something like this: Lawyer by day, Lego builder by night. Got tired of doing Law stuff so made Lego his living. Now he has a traveling exhibit. Pretty cool life, if you ask me!
The boys loved seeing all the different sculptures made with Lego. Yes, that is a dinosaur you see behind Cache. It was pretty cool I thought. Patrick wasn't that impressed. He felt that technically, this guy had a lot of ability, but not a lot or artistic insight. Regardless, it was a fun outing for all of us.
We spent some time downtown at the museum, the Helix bridge (which you can see in the background),

And a lot of running around.  These kids run so much, it's almost mind numbing. This was just the beginning of the things we had planned for our Christmas vacation. We had Patrick off for a full week, which we were ready to take advantage of, and Ronin only had one more week left before school started again, so we made the most of it!
 Happy times.
