Beach Days

This summer we had a lot of beach days. There really isn't any excuse to not visit the beach when you live as close to it as we do...

This particular day Cache was perfecting the "blinking" game. He closes his eyes real tight and then makes this face as the game starts. It makes me laugh every time which of course makes me blink. He's a pro, that's for sure.

Kai is growing up... as they all seem to do. He like to do the big boy things, even if it means ripping his arms out of their sockets.

Cache and Kai could play in the sand for hours with very little fighting. Which is probably the ONLY reason we go. They are delighted for hours with sticks and sand. What's not to love? Other than the occasional fist of sand in the eye, which of course happens. every. time.

 If you are wondering how hot it gets here in Singapore in the middle of the day, wonder no more.  It gets hot:

SO hot that you have to float in the ocean outlet in your clothes. Otherwise you will melt/fry/pass-out/die... just to name a few. And that's not good.

We love the beach!
