Desaru: The beach

The beach in Malaysia was lovely. Nothing too fancy. And the hotel wasn't anything to write home about, but it was a great time to be quiet, play in the sand and spend some lovely time with lovely friends.

That is the hotel there in the background. Like a wanna-be mini Disney Land. You can participate in every kind of water sport. You can bounce on bungee trampolines, play soccer, swim, build sand castles, look for rock, eat and sit. That's all the fun a family can have in a quick weekend!

The boys quickly went to building the first day we were there.
Because of all these boys the first thing to do was to find sticks. And LOTS of them!
Once that was accomplished it was then time to see what we could build out of said sticks.
We also found a pallet and some big rocks and a little further off was a biiiiiig pile of trash. So fun! And gross and diseased. We stayed away.

As night settled in we decided to make this a proper summer night by lighting some sparklers.

I love sparklers. And I REALLY love kids with sparklers. Its magical, just like I remember when I was a kid.
