Desaru: Activities

Every night after dinner there was always group games and activities. The boys had such a good time doing the Limbo. It was so hilarious to watch. Kai would strut his stuff and then riiiiiight before his face touched the pole, he would dip down fast and come back up. Cache however was the real pro and actually WON the competition! It was so fun!

 Cache is learning Malay at school, so we kept asking him what things meant. He said he didn't know. He was just as confused as the rest of us. Good thing there was pictures!

My dear friend Jessie is such a great mom. She has always been a great example to me of patients and kind speaking. I wish I could be more like her! She cares for her kids so well, and is an inspiration. 

The boys had to get some soccer in out on the big field.

The other great thing about this place (Lotus Hotel in Desaru Malaysia) is the great big water slide and water park. The kids couldn't get enough of it!

Water slide trains were a hit too.

 Levi and baby Sybil played like champs. It's so funny to see Levi work with a girl instead of his brothers. A new dynamic to get used to. He seemed confused most of the time.

 Meal time was always fun! Hectic, and busy but fun.

 We are so grateful for the time we have had with these great friends. The boys have had so much fun playing and learning together. Their friendship truly has been priceless.

It has been a sad farewell and a bit of an adjustment (for me at least) to say goodbye. We wish them all luck in the states and with their exciting new adventure. We hope to see them all again soon. As always, the world really is a small place so I know we will see them again. We love you and will miss you immensely! Thanks for the great memories.
