Memorial Day Weekend

What a blast we had!
Patrick picked up a new/old bike off of craigslist. It's a GT Performer trick bike. Kinda like the one he had when he was a kid. He has been searching high and low for something affordable but fun and he finally found it. He also found a hobby that will give him something to 'tinker' with as he put it. It was so fun to watch him ride around on it. He can still make the bike hop and he is perfecting his wheelies. Of course the kids think its the coolest thing and love to ride on the pegs up and down the driveway. Well, we picked this baby up on a saturday and by monday (Memorial Day) they were out washing and tinkering away:

We also had our towns parade. It was full of firemen, city council men, scouts and brownies. I love this little parade so much. We walk to the corner and sit ourselves right down:
We are getting to know our neighbors quite well and while they may think we are crazy for having so many kids (three is a lot!) I think they like us just fine and of course they adore the baby. We felt down right American as we enjoyed our Memorial Holiday. There are so many amazing things that we enjoy here in the states and we take so much of it for granted. This land has truly been blessed and we feel very blessed to live here. I hope we can be more mindful and grateful for all that people have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice to keep this country going. Wow, I feel patriotic and it's not even July yet!
