Little India with Brody

Fun is always had when we have visitors. We love it! This Christmas we had Grandma and Grandpa Sessions, Noni and Grandpa Larsen and Brody Fernelius for a visit.

Always on the tourist must-see list is a trip to Little India for the day. We love the sights and smells; flowers hung in a row being sold for offerings and decoration. In Little India you can see the famous Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple. Here they have beautiful colourful designs of the deity statues and ornate ceiling mandalas.
And you can smell the burning of oil offerings and incense.

When you walk past the shops you can see all sorts of things. Tailors, gold shops, flower sellers, fruit and veg vendors.

And we always stop for a henna tattoo. Cause its fun.

We ate at Laagna which is a barefoot dining experience! We always get to write our names on the wall when we are done eating.

Levi and Kai are just learning to write their names, so they both wrote them backward. Which of course is adorable. Another successful tourist day!!
