Patrick turns 40

Our dad is a rock star! He turned 40 this year. He seems to be handling it just fine. Remember when turning 40 was a big deal? You bought 'Over-the-hill' balloons and made a gravestone cake? Well, no more. 40 is the new 30!

Patrick has a work convention over his birthday every year, so we decided to make it extra special when he came home. While he was gone we made a nice little video to celebrate his many years of being alive and when he came home we had a candlelight dinner.

And Patrick's favorite dessert, brownies and ice-cream.

Happy Birthday Dad! You are the best and we love you so much! We hope you have a great birthday and know we are SO happy you were born 40 years ago.  You only have 40+ more to go... so hang in there ;)
