Kai has a style all his own. It starts at his head. Curly red hair that poofs out enough to rival any Bee Gee. When he sweats it curls up so tight. He even has one curl right at the crown. It's cuter than Superman. Next is his pasty white skin and pudgy legs that swish together when he walks. And of course at the bottom we have his crocs and socks. Its only been this week that he has wanted to wear socks. And he wears them wherever he goes. How he can like wearing them is beyond me. It is just SO hot! And of course he won't wear socks and his regular shoes. Oh no! He has to have his slip on Crocs to go with them (chinese knock-off brand of course). He just looks so dorky its hard not to squish him to death with hugs and kisses.
I did cut his hair because the afro was getting too out of control. I didn't cut off all the curls, but enough to make me miss them. He just might have to hone his disco skills and don an afro the rest of his childhood. I'm pretty sure people will look past the dorkyness because he really is such a swell kid. Kind, helpful and loving. Just the way we like him. Even if he looks a bit like Mario Batali.
