Snow Sleds

Grandma S sent sleds for Malachi's birthday. Note: MALACHI'S birthday (which is in approx. 5 days from now). Malachi hasn't used his much, in fact his is in the garage. It may or may not see snow this year (heaven knows we have enough of it!)

But because Grandma S is smart, she knows a 1yr old doesn't really need anything so a 1yr olds birthday is the perfect excuse to get a sled for all the other kids in the family. So Ronin and Cache now both have their own as well and they are the perfect colors too. Blue for Cache, Orange for Ronin. Just they way they like it. Which makes Kai's designated life color Green.

There is so much snow in our front yard it has produced a natural hill and it has crusted over to form the perfect sledding spot. Ronin was really plowing it up:
Since today was Cache's birthday he chose to stay inside and hang out instead of showing his sled some action. He still has cake residuals on his face:
Once Ronin was sufficiently cold, he came in and pretended he was in a sled to show Patrick what he looked like when he was outside.
We are expecting even more snow this week so we will hopefully be sledding it up for many days to come. These kids are just starting to experience the fun that can be had... and they have mostly been inside.

How did you get a kid with such red hair? Your kids are very adorable, and I love the way Cache talks, sounds a lot like my little guy. I just smile and nod a lot because I have no idea what he is saying most of the time

They look like terrific sleds!! The weather looks awfully cold in NY. Maybe spring sledding will be better! The best part of sledding is the hot chocolate later!
For Cache: hot locket!
