New School Year 2016!

One of the things about going to Lego Land in the new year is we usually go the day before school starts. So then when school does start we are nice and tired and basically ill prepared. This year we have Ronin starting his 6th grade year (formally knows as P6) and Cache is in 3rd grade (P3).

And basically they are both hams... Cache is barking at the camera and I think calculating his math sums, just to get into the groove. As one does. The big boys leave at 6:30 in the morning and walk down the hill to the bus in the dark. In fact its so dark, Cache first thought he went to school at night. But it quickly becomes day time and then were off with the second set of boys who go to school at 8:30

The little boys start with a morning enrichment program early before school starts and then have school later in the day at 11:30 until 3pm. They love going together and I think their uniforms are adorable. As you can see Kai is a lot like Cache. Hamming it for the camera.

It's going to be a good year. It's the last year we have all together until each boy go to different schools. We are going to enjoy it as much as we can.

When the little boys arrive at school they get their temperature checked as well as their hands and mouths for any red spots (HFMD is rampant here)

After that they sit down and wait for the day to start. We were lucky enough to have Grandpa and Grandma walk us to the first day. It's always nice to face a new year with family by your side.
