Joss Stick Man: Activity Days

The joss stick man came to Activity Days to show the boys how to make christmas ornaments from cinnamon bark.

Basically the bark is taken from the tree and ground up into a powder. You then add water and it makes his kind of clay that you can mould and shape to make whatever you want. These guys are the only ones in Singapore that do this type of creative trade.

We have a nativity and ornaments made using this clay. It was a great opportunity for the boys and I loved watching this man work. He is amazing! 

This is definitely one of the things about Singapore that makes it so special. And I'm glad we got to be apart of it. Thanks Joss Stick Man!
